The alcoholic beverage market requires a very different approach as it is heavily regulated. But, don't despair, we have the necessary experience and knowledge to guide you through the process to:

  1. Understand the intricacies of the Three Tier System that governs the sale of alcohol
  2. Obtain your FDA registration
  3. Obtain your NRS permit for Texas
  4. Conduct a trademark search and file a trademark application with the Federal Government
  5. Obtain your COLA approval for each of your SKUs
Without these steps you will not be able to sell a single bottle in the USA.

Due to the complex legal and contractual requirements in the beverage business, we strongly recommend that you also work with an experienced beverage lawyer. We recommend Paul W. Reidl, who was a senior lawyer in Gallo Winery’s Legal Department for 18 years, where he handled transactional, regulatory, trademark, litigation, international and other matters for Gallo’s global operations. He is also a former President of the International Trademark Association and is a member of the Association International des Juristes du Droit de la Vigne et du Vin.  He is now accepting select new clients for his law firm.
